The most comprehensive,
easy-to-follow, DIY Tanning Kit for hunters and taxidermists. No Chrome
- so no blue/green colour stained pelts. Our kits leave your pelts with
a natural "white" finish.
This Small Kit will tan approximately:
- 1 Fallow Deer hide; or
- 2 Goat Capes; or
- 6 - 8 Fox Hides.
The kit includes:
- 3 x Tanning Agents - all that is required
for the tanning process.
- 1 x Bottle of Lube/Oil - for oiling the
hide.
- 1 x Instruction Leaflet - which guides the user through the whole process from the preparation to the drying. Whether you are wanting to tan hides for flat skins (rugs), or capes in preparation for taxidermy, our instructions will guide you through easy steps to get the finish you are after.
Our Tanning Agents and Tanning Lube can also be purchased separately. Both items come with instructions.
